Design
Every project begins with an initial meeting, and is followed by a process of planning and discernment to ensure the best possible outcomes for your space. Poor designs lead to poor projects, so we are careful to do this process well.
A design that is tailored to you will always make you feel at home.

This consultation consists of a meeting in your home to discuss your project and see the space. We will discuss our company’s approach, share cost estimates and timelines, and offer our initial design thoughts.

After collecting a design fee we begin developing the design for the new space. We gather measurements and photos, draw plans, and create options for your review.
We also develop the design aesthetic for the project, based on the style of your home, the needs of the space, and your personal preferences.

As the design takes shape we build our project budget with the help of our subcontractors and suppliers. We keep you involved in this process to ensure that design choices line up with target costs.
We work with you to finalize design selections and offer assistance where needed to keep the process enjoyable and not overwhelming.

The design process concludes with a detailed contract. We identify selections and specifications for the proposed work, alongside corresponding costs. Our aim is to minimize surprises, clarify expectations, and ensure that we are on the same page.
Build
From even before the first hammer swing, we pay close attention to how a project will be built. We are just as concerned with the process as we are with the end product, so we work hard to pay attention to the details, communicate clearly, and meet regularly with you as the project unfolds.
Renovation work is a journey, and our job is to guide you down this road.

This first step involves preparation. We order materials, schedule subcontractors, and arrange for protection of your home during construction.
We meet with you prior to starting the work to discuss our schedule, what to expect during the work, and other notes related to the project.

Once the construction begins, we perform and oversee this work to ensure that the contract specifications are followed to our high standards. While renovation work is disruptive by nature, we work hard to keep your home as clean as possible and ensure a smooth, surprise-free experience.
We are regularly on site, meet with you often throughout the process, and are always a phone call away to handle any potential issues that may arise.

As the project comes to a close we strive to ensure that the loose ends get tied up and that you are able to move in to your new space as soon as possible.
We gather with you one last time to remember the journey and celebrate the achievement of this major milestone.
